Kajabi MCP: What Does It Mean for Your Business?
Jun 22, 2026
AI is evolving at an incredible pace.
If you've been following developments in AI even a little, you've probably had the thought: "Do I need to pay attention to this too?" Every week seems to bring a new tool, acronym, or promise. One of the latest terms you may have come across is MCP.
Kajabi recently released its own MCP server, allowing AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to work directly with your Kajabi account.
On the fast lane? Read the summary!
But does that actually matter to you?
That was the question I asked myself. Not from a technical perspective, but from a practical one.
- Will it help me work faster?
- Will it give me more visibility into my business?
- Can it make content management easier?
- Or is this simply another AI trend that sounds exciting but adds little real value?
If you're not entirely sure what Kajabi MCP is, you're not alone. In this article, I'll explain what Kajabi MCP does, how entrepreneurs can use it, and whether it's something worth exploring right now.
What is Kajabi MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. The name sounds technical, but you don't really need to remember it. What's important is what it does. Think of MCP as a secure bridge between an AI tool and software you already use, such as Kajabi.
Until now, a typical workflow looked something like this:
With Kajabi MCP, those worlds can work together.
Your AI assistant can retrieve information from your Kajabi account, prepare a draft blog post, help create emails, analyze content, and assist with other tasks without requiring you to constantly switch between tools.
The biggest difference between standard AI usage and MCP is that MCP works with information and permissions that you explicitly provide.
Instead of guessing what's inside your Kajabi account, the AI can securely access approved information and work with it directly. That does not mean AI suddenly has unrestricted access. Kajabi controls exactly which areas can be accessed and what actions are allowed. You remain in control of what ultimately happens.
What changes in practice?
For most entrepreneurs, this is the real question. It's great that a new technology exists, but what difference does it actually make in day-to-day business?
Let's say you've just published a blog post about a new offer. Normally, you'd then need to:
Write a newsletter
Create a community post
Come up with social media content
Repurpose the content manually
With Kajabi MCP, your AI assistant can prepare those assets for you.
This is based on content already stored in Kajabi, or perhaps you want to know which forms are performing best. Normally, you'd click through multiple dashboards and reports. With Kajabi MCP, AI can gather that information much faster.
The real value isn't necessarily found in flashy automation. It's found in:
- Less searching
- Less copying and pasting
- Less switching between platforms
- Faster content creation
- Better visibility into your business
That may not sound revolutionary, but if you use Kajabi every day, those small time savings can add up quickly.
Is Kajabi MCP right for you?
Honestly, not necessarily. If you only use Kajabi occasionally, rarely update your content, and are happy with your current workflow, there's no reason to drop everything and start using MCP immediately. The same applies if you're still new to AI.
In that case, I'd recommend first exploring how tools like ChatGPT or Claude can help you write emails, blogs, sales pages, and other content.
Kajabi MCP becomes more valuable when you're regularly doing the things below. At that point, having an AI assistant that understands what's actually inside your Kajabi account becomes far more useful than one that only generates text.
➜ Publishing content
➜ Sending emails
➜ Building landing pages
➜ Managing courses
➜ Reviewing analytics
➜ Maintaining multiple products
What can Kajabi MCP do today?
Kajabi has already opened access to a substantial number of areas within the platform. AI tools can currently work with:
- Blogs
- Website and landing pages
- Courses, lessons, modules, and products
- Email campaigns
- Forms
- Communities
- Contacts
- Offers
- Analytics
What I find most interesting is that Kajabi MCP goes beyond content creation. It's also about visibility and business intelligence. For example, you can ask:
- Which blogs have I published in the last year?
- Which forms are used most frequently?
- Which offers generate the most revenue?
- Create a newsletter draft based on my latest blog post.
These are exactly the types of tasks entrepreneurs often postpone because they take more time than they have available.
What can't Kajabi MCP do?
This may be the most important section of this entire article.
When people hear that AI can work directly with their Kajabi account, it's easy to assume that AI will soon run the entire business.
That's not how it works.
MCP does not know:
- Your business strategy
- Your ideal clients
- Your long-term vision
- What makes your brand unique
AI can write content, perform analysis, and make suggestions.
But you're still the person responsible for deciding:
- Whether something is accurate
- Whether it fits your brand
- Whether it serves your audience
I don't see MCP as a replacement for entrepreneurs.
I see it as an assistant. An assistant that can handle a lot of preparation but still relies on your guidance and decisions.
My first impression of Kajabi AI and MCP
I started with an ambitious request: "Write a completely new sales page for this product."
That was too much to ask. MCP is simply the connection layer. The content and strategy still need to come from you.
The visual result wasn't what I expected because my expectations were unrealistic.
The real opportunity lies in repetitive tasks—less manual searching and clicking through menus, and more work accomplished through conversation.
Instead of navigating multiple dashboards, you can simply ask: "Which pages receive the most visitors?" or "Create a newsletter draft about my latest blog post."
That feels far more natural than the way we've interacted with software for the last twenty years.
Is everything perfect yet? Not at all. To me, this feels like the beginning of something much bigger. But it's a very interesting direction.
Kajabi MCP is not an automatic web designer.
One expectation I see online is that AI will soon be able to completely redesign a Kajabi website with a single command. We're not there yet.
AI can be incredibly helpful with content creation, analysis, suggestions, and drafts, but designing an entire website within Kajabi's structure is significantly more complex. Kajabi websites are built using sections, blocks, and templates that follow specific frameworks.
AI is improving in this area, but don't expect Kajabi MCP to completely redesign your website from scratch anytime soon. In fact, I believe this is one of the most practical applications today.
If you're already using a professional Kajabi template or course framework, MCP can help in the following much faster than starting from a blank page:
✱
Filling existing pages with content
✱
Improving current pages
✱
Updating existing templates
✱
Refining course environments
How to get started with Kajabi MCP
My advice is simple: Start small.
To begin using Kajabi MCP, you'll need to connect Kajabi with your preferred AI tool. This could be ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or another supported AI environment.
The exact setup process varies by platform, so I recommend following Kajabi's official documentation. Pay close attention to permissions. Initially, it's often smarter to grant read and analysis access before allowing content creation or publishing permissions.
Once connected, try simple tasks such as:
- Which blogs are currently published on my website?
- Create a newsletter draft based on my latest blog post.
- Summarize my sales page.
- Analyze which forms are used most frequently.
- Draft a community post about my newest offer.
Focus on drafts and preparation at first. Let AI assist you, then review the output yourself. You'll quickly discover where Kajabi MCP saves you the most time.
Final Thoughts
Kajabi MCP is not a magic button that suddenly allows AI to run your entire business. However, it is a development worth paying attention to, especially if you're actively creating content, sending emails, managing courses, or spending significant time inside Kajabi.
The biggest advantage probably won't come from dramatic automation. Instead, it will come from something much more practical—less searching, less copying and pasting, which in return gives you faster access to information and more efficient workflows.
My advice? Experiment with it gradually.
Not because you need to chase every AI trend, but because Kajabi MCP may represent the first step toward a way of working that becomes increasingly normal over the next few years, and if that happens, you'll already understand how AI and Kajabi MCP can support your business.
